We can not afford unduly flamboyant Governors!

By Mezie Akabudu

We have seen flamboyant governors, and even an excessively flamboyant one, in our journey as a state since the Fourth Republic but history still reveals that Anambra State benefitted far most in every aspect of genuine development under the modest and humble approach of His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi.
The problem with people of flamboyant lifestyle is that they tend to be obsessed with personal gratification, chasing vainglory and generally misleading the masses in attempts to cover up their myriad of lapses.  They tend to get obsessed with the perks of office and easily forget why they were elected in the first place. On the other hand, modesty starts with the humility and ability to be connected to the people, know their problems and, most importantly, the appropriate solutions.
Having looked at all the aspirants of the different political parties, Engr Chris Emeka Azubogu, from every parameter of appraisal, stand out as the most modest in all endeavours. And for this reason, I plead with PDP delegates to please give us this man already known as Mr. Project.
He is very #PreparedToServe
