Umeh praises Airpeace Female Pilot

Chief Victor Umeh, former National Chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, has complimented and praised Captian Nwando Phina Okpalaeke for landing the first aircraft at Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport at Umueri in Anambra State on Friday, April 30, 2021.

The young female pilot, hails from Azia in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Captian Nwando is a Computer Science graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University, Ghana.


Upon her graduation, she trained at the 43 Air School in South Africa and was certified to fly commercial aeroplanes.

Today she is an accomplished pilot with a significant number of flights under her belt.

Recall that history was made as two test-run flights landed simultaneously at Anambra International and Cargo Airport on Friday, April 30, 2021. The completed Cargo Airport has been certified by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA.
