Unprovoked killings have been taken to Oyo State as eyewitnesses stated that not less than 20 people were slaughtered dead in Igangan in Ibarapa North Local Government area of Oyo State when scores of suspected Fulani herdsmen on motorcycles stormed the sleepy town.

The armed elements reportedly carried out the attack on Saturday night, June 6, 2021.

A viral video of the scene captured by the Newwavereporters was horrible as people were lamenting in the video that it was the Fulani that masterminded the killing.

As gathered, the mass killing happened a week after the Chairman of Amotekun Corps in Oyo State, General Ajibola Togun (rtd) warned that some foreign herders are hibernating in forest reserves waiting to unleash terror on Yorubaland.
