Heavy Shooting at Awada, Ugwuagba Obosi

It has been reported that the Nigerian military personnel are allegedly shooting around the streets of Awada and Ugwuagba Obosi in Anambra State for the past one hour in the afternoon of Wednesday, April 28, 2021, as residents were seen running for their lives.

Recall that there was similarly an alleged heavy shooting by unknown gunmen who reportedly attacked Navy check point at Onitsha yesterday night of April 27, 2021.


Eyewitness reports said that the shootout lasted for about an hour as casualties were recorded, adding that people living along the scene deserted their houses to seek refuge elsewhere.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Navy has barricaded the road at Uga junction Onitsha- Head Bridge as two naval officers allegedly died on the spot while another unconfirmed narrative said five naval officers were shot dead.
