Heavy security presence on Lagos roads for Buhari

By Mezie Akabudu, December 9, 2021 has gathered that there is an unusual security presence along the major roads and highways in Lagos State this morning.

Our reporter gathered that the unusual presence of security men may not be unconnected with the  arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari who is expected to be the special guest of honor at the launch of a book, “My Participations” which is the autobiography of Chief Bisi Akande, the former interim Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, slated to hold today at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island later today, December 9.

The President was received at the airport by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other officials.

Buhari drove straight to the Naval Dockyard where he is right about now commissioning naval boats and helicopters.

The heavy presence of security men are mostly noticed on Airport Road, Oshodi, Anthony, Gbagada, Third Mainland bridge, Ojota, Ojuelegba, Mile 2 and the whole of Victoria Island.
