The Civil Society Network Against Corruption (CSNAC) has on Monday, June 7, 2021, asked Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and culture, to release details of expenditure on N9.4bn paid by the federal government to digital switchover (DSO) stakeholders.
Recall that in February, the federal government inaugurated a ministerial task force to oversee the digital switchover in the country.

In a letter addressed to the minister, Olanrewaju Suraju, chairman, CSNAC, said Nigerians have the right to know how the funds were spent considering allegations of corruption surrounding the programme.
According to the group, the request was made pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (FOI ACT 2011).
